ATP Thailand Open - Tim Henman beats Andy MurrayTim Henman has sensationally just beaten Andy Murray in todays first round match in the ATP Thailand Open, in Bangkok. He won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. Andy Murray may well have been tired after his back to back three Davis cup matches in Odessa this weekend, which necessitated a later than planned arrival in Thailand. Henman had declined to participate in the Davis cup. Henman will now face another British player in the second , Alex Bogdanovic who yesterday beat Yeu-Tzuoo Wang (Tpe) 6-7 (7-9) 6-4 6-4. If Tim can successfully navigate his way through the third round he could accumulate some useful ATP points which could see his world rankings rise accordingly.
