This week sees the first time that Andy Murray will be working with his new coach Brad Gilbert, and Gilbert is determined that change is afoot.

"If Andy Murray isn't an early-morning person, that's going to change," said Gilbert.

Gilbert is arranging soem practice sessions for Andy Murray with one of his previous coachees.. Andre Agassi

"I would like Andy to practise a few times with Andre," said Gilbert, who has coached Agassi and Andy Roddick".

"He will be able to see just how hard Andre works, even at 36. He still trains like an animal. I want to get Andy on court with Andre at Toronto or Cincinnati before Agassi retires at the end of the summer," said Gilbert.

In the meantime Andy Murray's older brother Jamie Murray was making headlines in the USA for all the right reasons. He has climbed 44 places in the ATP doubles world rankings on Monday after reaching his first ATP Tour final at the $500,000 Countrywide Classic in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Jamie Murray and American partner Eric Butorac enjoyed three impressive wins to reach the final, including an impressive victory over second seeds Jim Thomas and Travis Parrott in the opening round. Sadly they lost in the final to Wimbledon champions Bob and Mike Bryan 6-2, 6-4 on Sunday. Nevertheless thats impressive!!

The 20-year-old is now the second-highest ranked British doubles player in the world at No.138 behind James Auckland.
